J Fab is being built by an experienced mechanic and fabricator who understands what happens when a part is installed, serviced, adjusted, abused, and used in the real world.
The background
The product direction comes from years of automotive repair, diagnostics, diesel and transmission work, towing, fabrication, motorcycles, powersports, and shop-equipment use.
That experience changes the design questions: Can it be installed? Can it be serviced? Is there tool access? Does the adjustment stay put? Will the finish survive the job?
The purpose
The goal is a focused group of useful products released in controlled batches. J Fab will not fill a store with rebadged imports or advertise a rendering as a proven component.
More production will move in-house as machining, anodizing, and laser-marking capabilities come online.
